Gibson & Co is regulated (with SRA reference number 47899) by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, whose regulations may be found on their website at www.sra.org.uk.  Gibson & Co is registered for VAT purpose with VAT registration number 176 7672 17.  Our partners are listed on our website and a list is also available for inspection at our offices. 

In accordance with our client care responsibilities we have a written complaints procedure and aim to ensure that any complaints are handled promptly, fairly and effectively in accordance with it. In the event of a problem, a client is entitled to complain and the client will be advised to whom within the practice to complain. Upon request, we will provide a client with a copy of our complaints procedure. If for any reason we are unable to resolve a problem between us and a client, our client may utilise the complaints and redress scheme operated by the Legal Complaints Service. There are time limits for making complaints to the Legal Complaints Service, for further details, visit their website at www.legalcomplaints.org.uk 

The provision of our legal services may relate to investments (including insurance contracts).  We are not authorised by the UK Financial Services Authority.  However, we are included on the register maintained by the Financial Services Authority so that we can carry on insurance mediation activity, which is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts. This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the SRA.
