Jonathon completed his LLB at King’s College, London. He then studied Spanish at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid before taking the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.

Jonathon trained at a large US law firm in London, where he gained experience in the litigation, advertising technology and media, real estate and construction departments. After completing his training contract, Jonathon worked on a multi-million pound international fraud case at a magic circle law firm. He then returned to his North Eastern roots when he joined Gibson & Co. as an associate in the commercial litigation department in November 2010.

In his spare time, Jonathon enjoys skiing, climbing, swimming, keeping fit, reading and travelling. He is also a keen linguist and speaks fluent German, French and Spanish. Jonathon is a Free Representation Unit (FRU) Representative and also carries out legal work on a voluntary basis for the National Centre for Domestic Violence.
